Getting there

The easiest way to get to Pocahontas County is by car. It is rural West Virginia, after all.

Headquarters

Pōcfest's Home Base will be High Rocks, a beautiful, forested 200-acre campground, normally used for an award winning leadership program for young women ages 13-25.  But don't worry.  Pocfest also opens its arms wide to those aged 0-12 and 26-100+, as well as men, the transgendered and non-leaders of any gender.

About High Rocks' facilities:
High Rocks owns two hundred acres of mostly forested land abutting the National Forest. Besides the network of trails that lead to a secluded waterfall and a cave, there is a beautiful campground, with a large open field, two bunkhouses, many three walled shelters, two shower buildings, pit toilets, a dining hall and a great fire ring. See the Accommodations Page for more details.
